About me

As an educational consultant and college counselor with over 17 years of experience, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals navigate the complex process of designing their life project.

My passion lies in guiding students through the decision-making process as they embark on their academic journey. Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of the educational landscape and have built a vast network of resources to help my clients make informed decisions. I pride myself on providing personalized guidance and support to every individual I work with, ensuring that their unique needs and goals are taken into account. From helping students choose the right academic programs and institutions to provide guidance on career development and post-graduate opportunities, I am committed to ensuring that each individual I work with achieves their full potential.

I am confident in my ability to help you navigate the complex world of education and achieve your personal and professional goals. Let's work together to design a life project that reflects your passions, strengths, and aspirations.

I am a proud mother of two teenage daughters who attend Colegio Anglo Colombiano. As my eldest daughter enters senior year, I have started to experience the same emotions that many parents feel when it comes time to discuss college and career paths. I myself am a former student of Colegio Anglo Colombiano, having attended from 1980 to 1994. After completing my undergraduate studies at Savannah College of Art and Design, where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a minor in Art History, I returned to Colombia and worked with Maria Luisa Ortiz and in Publications Week at SOHO magazine while pursuing my major in Marketing at Universidad de Los Andes. Later, I obtained my MBA focused on Communication from the University of Barcelona, where I also served as a civil servant and diplomat at the Colombian Consulate in Barcelona. In 2007, I found my true passion in the education sector, where I have been working for the past 15 years. I have had the pleasure of guiding more than 800 students, with 300 of them having gone on to study at universities abroad. I have received training and education to prepare me for my current work as an educator, and I find great joy in helping students recognize and develop their full potential. My students have been admitted to some of the best universities in the world, including Harvard, Yale, Columbia, UPenn, LSE, Edinburgh University, IE, ESADE, and USC, among many others. I have also pursued further education and training in various fields, including Education from NYU and the College Board, Counselling from the Training Centre (TTC) in London, College Admission from Harvard College, Existential Humanistic Therapy (in progress), Mindful Education from Mindfulschools, and MBSR from SASANA. I believe that everyone deserves a space for recognition and reflection in order to develop their full potential and become the person they dream of being. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me, and I hope to have the opportunity to guide and support your child on their journey to academic and personal success.
